climbing the koppie....

So leading up to Oppikoppi, I booked and rebooked tickets, found out one of my favourite bands were playing, enjoyed some serious envy from fellow capetonians, saved my pennys and prepared myself for an absolutely epic weekend away in a little town called Northam, close to Sun City. Soooo I did a little bit of an oppi history search and found these fantastic posters from past Oppikoppi's. As a graphic designer, I was quite excited, because these posters show some substantial growth in the design department as well as documenting their growth as a festival over the past 15 years.

How cool are these? Although, I must say that the 2011 illustrative campaign is definitely my favourite.
